For the 2005 season, Lake Compounce replaced the Mini Golf course with Anchor Bay, a new addition to its water park. The main attraction of this new area is a Lazy River in which guests can float in single person or double person tubes for about 800 feet of relaxation. The Lazy River features "shower curtains" and "dumping buckets" for extra fun and cooldown. It also includes an optional tube slide leading back into the River. About 400 guests at a time can enjoy Anchor Bay.
