Rotor
Manufacturer: Chance
Installed in 1997
Only the strongest stomachs survive the Rotor. Riders enter a circular room. After the door is shut and riders position themselves with their backs to the wall, the room spins faster and faster. Riders feel the skin on their faces start to slide back behind them towards the wall and before they know it, the floor they were standing on has been lowered and they’re physically stuck to the wall of the spinning cylinder. After about a minute of shocking visuals–people all around you and across from you stuck to the walls like superheros, the floor has elevates back up until it reaches about one foot below people’s feet. The spinning slows down and riders gently slide down to meet the floor. They exit the room and walk down the stairs, holding on to the railing to recover from their dizzyness.
