Each of the two giant swing arms of Lake Compounce’s Screamin’ hold 16 passengers in comfortable plastic seats with cushioned lap restraints. Riders are swung out over the walkway at 60 miles per hour, a height of almost 100 feet, and 4 Gs. The unique seats provide huge airtime with leg and upper body freedom. Thunder n’ Lightning debuted on May 13, 2006.
